AF Patient Story

THE BRIEF

Atrial fibrillation (AF) is a heart condition that causes an irregular and often abnormally fast heart rate. We needed to create a patient story to showcase the daily lives of patients and how AF affects them.

ON SET

My role was varied on the day – welcoming and briefing the actor, setting up the days expectations, running through the script and selecting her outfit. I also needed to stage and create a comfortable environment that would reflect our patient story with limited props (mostly staged with materials sourced from my own home!)

Working with the cameraman Ray, we revisited various sections of the film, directing emphasis and emotion on sections and worked with the actor to create the right tone for the story.
